I had a much more expensive electric knife
sharpener years ago. It worked really well, and
I didn't expect this one to match it. But I
think this one is actually better! The angle of
the slots really seems to help the knives to
contact the grinding stones at just the right
angle. Very happy with this appliance.

The product looks great on my countertop. Very
sharp and contemporary yet it doesn't give off a
"cheap" feel. The knives themselves
are also of high quality. They are very sharp
and the edges are warrantied by the manufacturer
to never dull. Overall, for the price, these
knives are highly recommended.

I have 2 sets of these knives after purchase of
this most recent set because they didn't cost an
arm and leg! The 1st set I've had for approx. 10
years. They are great! Easy to care for and
definitely get the job done. The information
that comes with them suggests that you not put
them in the dishwasher, but I've always put them
in the dishwasher anyway because they weren't
expensive and my old ones still look new! I also
like them because there are no
"exposed" screws in the handles - they
look expensive but are very reasonably priced.
Great product!

For this amount of money, you can get 4 very
"sharp" multitasking knives. The red one that I thought, I would use the lest
out of the 4, is what I use daily in the
kitchen.Truly multitasking. Delicate fruits/ any
bread/ sandwich/cake. The green one- any job can
be done with it in the kitchen.
The other two knives work greatly as backup
knives. One could say that the knives are cheap
looking with those vivid colors of the knives.
However, the color code was one of the reasons
for my purchase. I tend to lose small knives- so
far 4 henkel 4 star paring knives have been
lost. The color code helps me keep track of the
knives and prevent me from cutting myself when I
take out the knives from the drawer.
Highly recommended.

My wife was given an expensive Furi knife as a
gift. I didn't want this to be relegated to the
bottom of the kitchen odd-and-ends drawer
because I couldn't sharpen it properly. I have
(or had) number of different sharpeners, all
useless or difficult to use: tungsten carbide
pull-through, traditional steel, can-opener
&c. So I got the Ozitech because it's Furi's
own sharpener.
