Bought as a replacement for a small 2-cup processor. Powerful, great capacity, super-sharp blades work equally well either slicing or pureeing. Wide-mouth is the best feature as you can add large amounts quickly without cutting them up first.

Sooner or later, you're gonna need a food processor. Unless you need one on a regular basis, this is probably the best one you could invest in. It works well, cleans up easily in the dishwasher, & it has little suction cups to hold it securely on the countertop while you're using it. I love it.

I received the Hamilton Beach 70670 food processor for my birthday. I absolutely love it! It has all the features one could want; two speeds, pulse option, plus two shredding disks.
I have used the processor four times now, all with great success. It has the power to shred sharp cheddar cheese as well as being able to finely chop basil for pesto.

Soon after buying it, I used it to shred mozzarella cheese. It could not handle the job...the top (supposedly locked)rose up, sending cheese flying out, but not the disc, thank goodness. I relocked it, just in case, but it happened again. Had to return to Amazon. We'll see how that goes. In case you're still considering buying it, it's also good to know that the slicer makes very (!) thin slices! Thicker slices are not an option.
