Having had some really heavy every day dishes
for several years, we decided to purchase some
dishes that were easier to lift from dishwasher
to cabinet. (I've had a shoulder injury.) Not
only are these dishes nice and light, but they
stack in a much smaller space than the heavier
dishes did, allowing me to move shelves in the
cabinet down to make reaching other dishes more
easily.

Corningware has been around forever, so it's no
surprise these ramekins are the product of such
experience. They are the perfect size. They can
compliment any table setting from kid-friendly
to sophisticated. They are perfect for dips,
salsas, puddings, custards, and even individual
casseroles. I also use them for preparing
recipes and weighing ingredients ahead of time.
And lids can be found for them at your local
Corningware outlet stores. Definitely a best
buy!

I'm buying a second pair of these - One glass
from my first pair broke when a friend dropped
it 3 feet onto a stone countertop, and I want to
replace it. I hadn't worried much about
durability before that (had had the cups for 6-8
months). - I love drinking espresso out of these
cups. The cool outside of the cup is great for
rushing around in the morning and for
unsuspecting guests. Also, I really love being
able to watch the espresso settle in the glass;
it is very beautiful.

I'm so happy with my Corelle Livingware 16-Piece
set Service for 4, Winter Frost White. I bought
4 boxes to make a set of 16. I read that some
people got their glasses broken. All mine (16)
where fine. Not one got broken. I really didn't
need them, I just wanted the dishes. I also
bought 4 boxes of the pasta bowls that came with
one large bowl each. They're so easy to wash
off, they stack so neat and they're so strong.

My mother has had Botanic Garden from
Portmeirion tableware for years now. I've
purchased pieces for her as gifts a number of
times and they are typically not inexpensive. I
finally decided to start using it for myself.
This was a great value. You will not find any
other place where you can get 17 pcs for this
price. Also, they were packed perfectly.
Everything arrived in pristine condition and was
exactly as advertised on the site.
