These jars are better than I expected and are
gorgeous filled with pickles or jam. When the
jars seal they make a loud thunk sound that
makes me jump every time. The lids are the same
size as your standard wide mouth jars, so you
can use these jars again and again for canning
without special ordering Leifheit lids. I have
given my preserves as gifts in these jars and
everyone loves them!

Although it may take a little practice to use,
this is a great can opener that does prevent
sharp edges on cans. We got our first one 5
years ago and did just have to replace it, but
we were so happy with our first we just replaced
it with a new one.

i used my new pot for two different courses
within the same evening. it was fantastic with
the cheese (actually made it in the pot and it
melted down great) and the equally great with
the coq au vin for the second course. i guess in
my haste to set up i didnt realize you arent
supposed to use an extension cord, but i did and
it was fine. i also didnt notice ANY issues with
the responsiveness of the heating element. i was
quite happy with this product.

I love the OXO Good Grips line in general and am
so ahppy with this purchase. I completely agree
with the other reviewers about the beautiful,
fluffy mashed potatoes this makes. So nice to
use less milk! It also makes wonderful baby food
with fresh sweet potatoes and bananas.
Dishwasher safe as well :)

I've had the same salad shooter for over 20+
years and have used it almost weekly. I use it
to shred cheese, lettuce, cabbage, onions, etc.
It is easy to use, easy to clean, and takes up a
small amount of space in the cabinet. I bought
this new one for a gift for a friend who always
notices mine when she comes over and sees me
using it. I got a note from her yesterday saying
she has already been using it and loves it! She
said she uses it to chop nuts to top cakes with.
